Life Insurance Agent

Most agents spend their day chasing people who never asked to hear from them. At Eterna, the people you talk to called us. They searched for life insurance, found us, and picked up the phone. Your job is to help them find the right coverage.

You’ll work from our Houston office on the West Loop with daily training and a mentor whose job is helping you get good at this.

What you’ll do

• Take inbound calls from people who are already looking for life insurance.
• Learn each caller’s situation and recommend coverage that fits, from a wide range of carriers.
• Build your skills through daily training and one-on-one mentoring.
• Move through Spark, Spark Plus and Limitless at your own pace.

How you grow

1. Spark

   Learn with support. Spark covers the cost of your calls while you learn, with a mentor and daily training. You cover your state license fees.

2. Spark Plus

   You’re proficient and producing. Call support continues each week, and your comp goes up.

3. Limitless

   Cover your own costs, keep the highest comp, and own your book of business and renewals. Build a team if you want to lead.

Who does well here

We care more about attitude than experience. The people who do well here are coachable, competitive and dependable, and they show up. Many come from retail, hospitality, restaurants, fitness or college athletics, and many started with no insurance background.

Before you start

• Contracted and commission based. You’re a 1099 agent and you’re paid on what you sell. We’ll walk you through exactly how comp works in your first conversation with us.
• A life insurance license is required. Not licensed yet? You can still begin. Requirements vary by state, and we’ll walk you through yours and point you to a pre-licensing course if you need one. State fees are yours.
• In office, full time. This role is based in our Houston office.
